Local Collaboration Brings Specialist Building Safety Training to Guernsey

Twenty-three professionals from C8, Vent and FDS recently came together to complete specialist NAADUK training in Guernsey, reinforcing a shared commitment to maintaining the highest standards across the island's building safety sector.

The nationally recognised training covered two key disciplines: Fire Damper Testing & Installation and Air Hygiene Technician. By bringing the courses to Guernsey, the three businesses enabled local teams to access industry-leading training without the need for off-island travel, supporting continuing professional development while strengthening local capability.

As regulations and best practice continue to evolve, ongoing training plays a vital role in ensuring specialists remain competent, knowledgeable and up to date in the inspection, testing and maintenance of critical building systems.
